Welcome to PlaaPlaaPlaa!

So you may be wondering why PlaaPlaaPlaa? What are those strange fish symbols above? What is ปลา and what does it mean? In short, this is a blog site, so surely there's going to be plenty of rambling. Unfortunately BlahBlahBlah was already taken, so I had to settle for the 'Plaa'. But there's actually more to it then just ramblings. The first fish symbol is actually a Christian symbol meaning ICTHUS - a greek acronymn which means "Jesus Christ is God's Son, the Saviour". The other strange letters you see in the last fish is actually the thai word for fish which funnily enough is pronounced "Plaa". So when you put it all together, this site is going to be my ramblings in telling people about how Jesus Christ is God's Son, the Saviour in Thailand (with plenty of good stories about food in between). Please Pray for Ai

Ai is one of the girls at church who's currently in hospital after being hit by a motorbike while crossing the road after work on Wednesday. No one's sure of what exactly happened, but the short of it is, she got hit from behind by a bike which appears to have been going pretty fast due to all her injuries. She's was unconscious for a while, has got a broken eye socket, leg and swelling of the brain at the moment (not to mention things like all the bruising, lost skin etc that you'd expect as well). She's currently in ICU as the doctors monitor her head. Please pray for her, for no serious injury to her head, for a speedy recovery. Her family aren't christian, so please pray for them to be able to see the love and support that her church family are able to show at this time and pray that it will also open up opportunities for them to know you too.
